STORM Facilitator Online Refresher Session – 10th January 2022
We are running some FREE STORM® Facilitator Refresher Sessions to help you get back into the swing of training.
This is an ideal opportunity for you as a STORM® Facilitator to practice the Skills Practice, reflect on the content & ask the STORM® team any questions on the content and/delivery.
To make sure that you get the most from each session, we will limit each session to a maximum of 5 Facilitators per course.
**Please note that this is not an opportunity to practice the technology of delivering training online, however, we will be offering support with this at a later date**
*IMPORTANT* GDPR Agreement required
To participate in the refresher session, you will be required to agree to the terms of our GDPR agreement
You will give your agreement by ticking the appropriate tick boxes on the event registration form.
The reason that we need you to complete this agreement is because Microsoft Teams shows your name and email address to others who are in the meeting, and within the calendar invite. This means that individuals from other organisations who register for this session will be able to view your name and email address. GDPR regulations require us to receive your consent before we can proceed with sending your invitation.
About the registration process
We will need to verify your booking and ensure minimum numbers are met for the session before your place on the course can be confirmed
After registering, a page will appear on screen to let you know that your booking request has been received. You will also receive an email, but it may appear in your junk/spam folder.
Once your booking has been confirmed, we will send you the details of the session including the calendar invite and some guidance on how to prepare for the session.
STORM® acknowledges that suicide and self-harm are emotive subjects, and that the skills-training methods can cause some anxiety. We therefore endeavour to provide a safe and supportive learning environment that, whilst encouraging and enabling participants to fully engage in the training, is mindful of and responsive to their emotional safety.
To assist with emotional safety throughout the course, you will be required to keep your camera on at all times unless otherwise specified by the facilitators.
If you feel that this course is not in your best interest at this time, please inform the key contact within your organisation.
